bluhammock music is a full service, independent record label based in NYC that strives to promote honest, evocative music of various genres. We work with artists who are not only great songwriters, but performers as well. We accept all genres of music except for hard rock. Our first signing in 2004 was jam rock band Virginia Coalition, who has been successfully touring the nation for a number for years and sells out many great venues such as the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. Other current artists include Speech (of Grammy-award winning hip-hop group Arrested Development), singer/songwriter Jim Boggia (who most recently toured with American Idol contestant Constantine Maroulis), pop/rock band Secret Solution, and indie rock Swedish artist Kristoffer Ragnstam.

bluhammock supports its artists with resources in marketing, distribution, artist development, production, booking, licensing opportunities, street team promotions, online promotions, and videos. All of our releases are distributed through RED. bluhammock music participates every year in various music industry events, and often our artists perform as well. Both Virginia Coalition and Secret Solution performed at the CMJ Music Festival in NYC, Speech performed at SXSW in Austin, and Virginia Coalition performed at both NACA and North by Northwest.
