this is the album i've always wanted to make


this album is a collection of songs, mostly original, backed by such people as gary primich and his band, charlie prichard, ain't misbehavin', gavin tabone, richard fenno, etc.. there are two 'bonus tracks', recorded in 1967, of herman singing with the basic things, one of them a cover of wilson pickett's 99 1/2.

It's good stuff--bluesy, funny, eclectic.
