Johnny Edson

Johnny Edson is a veteran swing musician with 30 years as a singer/songwriter.

Edson has been making music for thirty years. His style has been described as a cross between Dan Hicks and Randy Newman. In the mid-seventies he started by singing on the sidewalk with his band Uncle Uh-Uh and the Uh-Huhs and was soon opening for the likes of Doug Sahm, B.W. Stevenson, Greezy Wheels and other Central Texas acts. His songs have been covered by Marcia Ball, Ain't Misbehavin' and CPR. Since the break up of his last band, Dad Gum Swing, Edson has recorded five albums, all of which are available on the web.
